Marilyn was born in Weiser, Idaho to Lester Moulton and Eva Calwhite on July 21, 1929 and was one of three children. She lived on an apple farm and eventually moved to Nampa, Idaho where she graduated high school and later attended University of Idaho, Moscow. Over the years Marilyn worked at the Santa Cruz County Courthouse and Bay Federal Credit Union. She was actively involved in many organizations in her time including the Welcome Wagon Club, Children's Home Society, PEO and Hospice. She enjoyed bridge, entertaining friends (she was blessed with an abundance) visiting family in Idaho and traveling with her husband, Bob. Shopping with her girls and going to Gayle's Bakery was always a special treat. Marilyn was a member of Twin Lakes Church.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bob, and daughter Kimberly Gossett (Dennis) Moore of Simi Valley, California; granddaughter Candace (Chris) Nagle and cherished great granddaughter Avery of New York, New York. She is also survived by her brother Dustin (Janice) Moulton of Boise, Idaho and sister Karen (James) Dalos of Eagle, Idaho along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and the extended Bowman family. She was pre-deceased by her son, Jeffrey Lee Gossett, in 1991.
