Obituary of Sebastian Joseph Trusso

Sebastian J. Trusso, 80, passed away peacefully at his La Selva Beach home Wednesday after a lengthy illness. A native of Jamestown, NY, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy in 1956. After marrying Mary Jo in 1960 they moved to Buffalo N.Y where Sebastian worked for Westwood Pharmaceuticals. In 1984 the family moved to Los Gatos, CA and later La Selva Beach. Sebastian was employed at Barnes-Hinds, and after retiring, he continued to work as a consultant for various firms. Sebastian was an ardent golfer and enjoyed many sports, but most of all he was a loving husband and a proud father. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Jo Trusso, and his five children, Gregory, Jeffrey (Anne), Paul (Bernadine), Amy (Raza), and Lisa (David), his fourteen grandchildren, his dear sister-in-laws, T.J. Bemis, Kathleen Napierala and Rose Ann Von Hertsenberg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 527 Corralitos Rd., Corralitos, CA on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Santa Cruz memorial Mission Chapel.
