Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Gehrmann

Elizabeth Marie Gehrmann passed away peacefully at home with her family and close friends at her side. She was born in Santa Cruz to Otto and Elizabeth Keller. She lived most of her life in Boulder Creek. She attended local schools and graduated from Santa Cruz High School. She furthered her education at Hartnell Jr. College and San Jose University, earning a B.A. and her teaching credentials. She taught in Scotts Valley and Quail Hollow (S.L.V.) and retired in 1983. She married Walter Gehrmann of San Francisco who passed away in 2001. Elizabeth leaves behind her two sons, Richard Gehrmann of Boulder Creek and Ronald Gehrmann of Angels Camp; daughter-in-law, Kim Gehrmann; three granddaughters, Jessica, Jennifer and Jamie Lee Gehrmann; and her sister, Margarita Cornwell of Boulder Creek. She was a kind, loving, thoughtful lady and will be missed. A private ceremony will be held later. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95066 for their appreciated help and comfort.
