Obituary of Stella Marie Muniz

Please share a memory of Stella to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Stella Marie Muniz (Garcia), 58, passed away at her Soquel home on Sunday. A native of Monterey, she has lived in Santa Cruz her whole life. She is the granddaughter of the Julio and Otila, founders of Tampico Restaurants, and at an early age, she learned the family business. Stella was very well known and liked by her customers, and a friend to all. She loved to cook, meet people, and especially, care for people she loved most. She is survived by her two children, Milo Conner Muniz and Angela Frances Muniz, her father Raymond Garcia, sisters, Jeanette Garcia, Lorraine Garcia, Guadalupe Sanchez, Patricia Garcia and Adriana Garza and her brother, Richard Garcia. Her sudden passing has left the family broken hearted. We will miss her motherly love, her sisterly care and no nonsense wisdom. Please join us as we celebrate her life at Delaveaga Park, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 12 Noon.
