In fond and loving memory of Fay Ying Lim, she was surrounded by family when she passed away peacefully on September 10, 2013 in San Jose, California. Her kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Fay was born in Toishan, China on September 12, 1916, the daughter of Lee Lan Thui and Tam Ngan Shoon. She married Jimmy Lim in 1929 and immigrated to the United States in 1947. Fay operated the Foodland Market in Santa Cruz until retiring in 1968.
Loving wife to Jimmy Lim, who passed away in 1966. Survived by sons Robert Lim and Ben Lim; daughter June Lim Cullen; son-in-law Robert Cullen; granddaughters Christine Cullen and Carilyn Cullen.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at Santa Cruz Memorial Oakwood Crystal Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA 95065 on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00AM. Fay will be laid to rest beside her husband Jimmy at Oakwood Memorial Park.
