Dorothy was born on November 17, 1920, to Glendon and Wanda Dumont, in Camp Crook, South Dakota, and passed peacefully on September 8, 2013. She was 92 years old. In 1985, Dorothy became a volunteer at Dominican Hospital, where she worked in Chaplain Services , and in the Critical Care Unit, providing emotional support for families of patients, and she continued to do volunteer work with the hospital until October 2006.
