Joel Anthony EatingerAug. 19, 1955-Jul. 16, 2013Resident of Santa CruzJoel Eatinger passed away from heart failure at Dominican Hospital on July 16, 2013 with family at his bedside. Born in Orange County, CA Joel attended Mater Dei High School. He is survived by his daughter Stacey Keene, grandchildren Jonesey and Jack, son Eric Eatinger, his mother, Ann Eatinger, his brothers Christopher, Damian, Bjorgen, Derek, Justin, David, and Dan, sisters Kirsten Dillehay, Galatea Maman, and Melanie Alfred, and his beloved pit bull companion Zeus. A resident of Santa Cruz for over thirty years, Joel worked as a plumber and was a member of UA Local 467. Joel enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, photography, surfing, skiing, leatherworking and reading. A memorial service is planned for August 17th when family and friends will scatter Joel's ashes.
