Darryl passed away suddenly on April 8th. His early years he lived in Chicago where he became a faithful Cubs fan. Darryl was a natural athlete who enjoyed the mental aspects of the game as well as the physical. His winning swing and crafty play will be missed. Darryl met his wife Colleen of 39 years while attending San Jose State. Together they moved to Oregon where they had two children, sons Ben and Nick. Eventually moving back to California in the early 1980's where they settled in Santa Cruz. He loved going out to breakfast, walking in Henry Cowell Park, riding motorcycles, watching the Cubs and the Bears and building anything.
