Obituary of Michael Goldsmith

My Beloved Michael left us peacefully last night...He leaves his younger brother whom he loved greatly and cared immensely for throughout his life. He was close to his brother's wife and their three children; his Aunt who resides in Skokie, Ill. whom he loved as his Mother. Michael's life was filled with an intense zest for the new and different, from living in a Commune, to an Ashram, to Engineering, to his last great love Journalism. On High Holidays we celebrated, with Michael leading the prayers. Thirty-seven years ago he chose to live the life of The Twelve Steps. He was devoted to carrying the message and did so to even serving two years as a Delegate. He leaves this world a better place for his kindness, compassion, curiosity, spirituality and humor. Funeral services will be held in Columbus, Ohio with his brother's family.
