Obituary of Deloris Wilson Crosson

Deloris Jean Wilson Crosson passed away peacefully on April 6, 2013 at her home in Felton at the age of 77. She moved from her birth place of Pittsburgh, PA to San Jose, CA in 1967 with her only daughter. She was working as a nurse where she met and fell in love with now deceased husband John Crosson. They moved to the Santa Cruz area in 1970. Deloris and John were very active in the Democratic Party. She was most proud of the honor of "Democratic Woman of the Year" and loved to brag about meeting President Bill Clinton. They were long time fans and season ticket holders for the San Jose Sharks. She also volunteered at the Valley Church for over 20 years. But her main passion was animals. Domestic or wildlife she loved them all. She is survived by her daughter Robin Wilson Vozzolo, son-in-law Ken Vozzolo and her siblings Trink, Sandy and Margie. Deloris did not want a funeral but can be visited at her final resting place at Santa Cruz Memorial Park Mausoleum. Robin requests no flowers but donations can be made to Santa Cruz SPCA, PO Box 3800, Santa Cruz, CA 95063 in honor of her love of animals.
