Obituary of Leta Lora Beagle

Leta Lora Beagle, 92, passed away Saturday in Santa Cruz. She is survived by her 5 children, Sharon Edgar of Littleton, NH, Louise Beagle of Felton, Linda Sue Sante' of Ben Lomond, Fred Beagle of Felton and Lorraine Beagle of Aptos, her two brothers, Eugene Paschall of Illinois and Melvin Paschall of Apache Junction, AZ, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest "Ollie" Beagle in 1989 and her brother, Denzil Paschall in 1987. A native of Neosho, MO, she graduated from high school in Montrose, CO. After marrying Forrest Beagle, they moved to Manchester, NH where he ran a Ford dealership in White River Junction, VT. In 1960 they moved with 4 children to Sacramento. They later moved to Davis where Leta began working as a secretary for the State of California at Vacaville Prison. They later lived in Rohnert Park, where Forrest passed away, and Leta moved to Capitola in 1992. She hand-raised cockatiels and painted oil portraits. She also enjoyed country music and making milkshakes for her grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean Street on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. Graveside services will follow on Friday at Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ollie.
