Robert LeBaron, almost 82, passed away March 18, 2013. He is survived by his son Paul LeBaron who resides in San Jose, daughter Laurel LeBaron & son-in-law David Blenkle of Watsonville, and Patricia LeBaron-Mabry of San Jose. Beloved Grandfather of 8. Robert Fernandez, Eddie Fernandez, Nathan Fernandez and Jessica Fernandez, Bonnie LeBaron, Leslie LeBaron , Lucas LeBaron and Travis Mabry. Devoted Great Grandfather of 3: Natalee Stacey, Leah Fernandez and Taylor Fernandez., Niece Tracy LaRue-Yalom, PhD. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty and son Bradley. Robert grew up on a ranch in Healdsburg, CA. He graduated the University of California, Berkeley in the 1950's, where he met Betty. Robert served our country in the Navy. Bob raised his family in the Cambrian Park area of San Jose and spent his final years living in a cabin behind his daughter's home in Watsonville, CA. Bob loved spending his days at the Watsonville Senior Center, having lunch and playing Bingo with his friends. He was known in the card rooms of San Jose, and loved his casino trips. Robert worshipped at St. Francis Cabrini Church in San Jose and recently at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos. Bob loved attending his children's athletic events with his wife Betty. He died at his daughter's home, with his great grandchildren sending him off singing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot". He had a good life with his family. Services to be held at Twin Lakes Church, Aptos CA. on Sunday, March 24th at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at Laurel's. Friends are welcome.
