Obituary of Victoria Lynn Knox

Please share a memory of Victoria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Victoria Lynn Knox was released from her battle with cancer Dec 12, 2024, at the age of 70. She leaves behind her husband Jack Henry Knox, son Tim Cooper, sister Kalisa Beagle and her husband Farhad Torkamani, brother Dan Beagle and his wife Robyn Beagle, stepfather Peter S. Beagle, more family, and friends. Victoria was born July 30, 1954, in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, daughter of Enid Elaine Nordeen Moine and Robert Stallman. She grew up in California, spending her childhood in Stanford, Bonny Doon, and Watsonville. She attended Bonny Doon Elementary, Mission Hill Junior High, and Santa Cruz High school. She married Jack Knox in Sonora, California, February 2nd, 1974. She and Jack moved to Arizona in 1976, and back to California in 1986, living in LA before returning to Santa Cruz. In Arizona, Victoria went to college and received her AA degree in Office Administration. Also known as Vicki, Veekay, and VK, growing up, Victoria loved horses, animals, and reading. In addition to riding horses, she collected Breyer model horses and wrote intricate pedigrees for them. Later she liked antique cars, rode a motorcycle, and learned small engine repair. She had a wonderful quirky sense of humor and of the absurd and enjoyed comedy, with a myriad of humorous references to books and movies such as A Fish Called Wanda, Princess Bride, and In & Out, shared as inside jokes with family. She also enjoyed funny memes with I Can Has Cheezburger and Dump a Day, and uplifting articles with The Good News Network. She enjoyed playing Solitaire and Bubble Pop on her computer. An SRF devotee, Victoria loved nature and going to Yosemite National Park. She was a good seamstress who liked fleece fabrics and fuzzy socks, and decorating surfaces with pretty and lacy fabrics. She liked stationary and office supplies. She was a fan of authors Maeve Binchy and Georgette Heyer, among many others. Although quiet, Victoria told entertaining stories, made a cozy organized home, and liked the colors purple and aqua. She was caring, generous, and charitable. Victoria, hard-working from her teen years, was an office manager, bookkeeper, and co-owner at B&B Small Engine Repair in Santa Cruz, and Jack is a Chiropractor with his own practice in Soquel, CA. Victoria is greatly missed by her family members and friends.
