So many fond memories of Cyndi making costumes, helping at fundraisers, hanging out with dance moms, and being the most loving and devoted mother. I just heard that she passed away -- such a shock, and she will be so missed.

Cyndi and I met in 1st grade at Victory Blvd. Elementary School. We were 2 of 6 that skipped the 2nd semester of 3rd grade (I have a December bday. She had a January bday. We started school in "B" semester in January. January to January for K, 1st, 2nd. They stopped that when we were in 3rd. We went January - June for 3rd then straight into 4th in September). We both moved to Colfax elementary after the 72 earthquake. We were friends throughout most of our school years. 7th Grade - we became D'Nomso and O'Cnarfed (IYKYK). Facebook brought us back together so many years later. I had found horses while she had always loved them. We spent many wonderful times together when she would come "down south" to see family, participate in horse events, etc. She helped me with my beloved horses, Dakota and Yoda (a treasured memory - Cyndi with my heart horses). Cyndi meant more to me than I think she knew. Happy Trails and fly free, my friend. You left such an impact on so many. I will miss you until we are reunited. I will always treasure and love you.

I met Cyndi back in May 1987 when my husband told me his friend Sal’s wife was in a horse show in Woodside. I had loved horses as a kid so I was excited to meet her. The pictures from that day follow.
Years later when Cyndi and Sal bought Quail Ridge Farms I decided it was tlme for me to get back into horses. With Cyndi’s kind support and Boogie, ,the best schoolmaster ever, I was back in the saddle after more than 35 years. When Cody became available she mentored me through horse ownership always giving me all the knowledge, time and help I needed.
Being part of Quail Ridge Farms family brought other fun times. Workdays followed by great meals and conversations. Overnights on Labor Day weekend in anticipation of the Fishing Derby that Cyndi won many many times. Christmas brunches with all the barn folk young and a bit older. And epic Halloween Spooky Barn and Trails festivities that gave some of us pause, all in fun. As it was said over and over during the celebration for Cyndi, she gave her all.
As one who was lucky enough to have Cyndi in my life I feel blessed. To Sal, Dominic and Andrea and family thank you for sharing her with us. She will forever be in our hearts.
Love, Marcie and Tony Colonna.

Cyndi you were an incredible friend and I will cherish our times together forever. We loved sharing our Christmas celebrations, Super Bowl get togethers, our couple’s nights outings and our Halloween Haunts. Especially the time we took kids to the Haunted Halloween event at Great America and we were both terrified. We built a friendship through dance and we have many wonderful memories. I love you my dear friend and you will always be in my heart .

I came across these shirts and sweatshirts that I silk screened by hand for Cyndi when she got her horse property. I will forever cherish them now.

Cyndi was an amazing horsewoman. You can see how she connected with our mare,Lucy.
She taught me for 20+ years and my daughter from Boogie through Toby until Lucy. We co-owned my lovely and loving Lucy with Cyndi. Her guidance went beyond riding. She helped my daughter through difficult teen years by showing her how to be both kind, gentle and assertive.
I will miss her great laugh.
With gratitude,
Peggy and Kayla Kauffman

Dear Cyndi,
You are forever in my heart. You taught me to always acknowledge and accept divine intervention when it is presented. I am so very blessed to have many wonderful memories filled with our travel adventures. We laughed a lot, and experienced so much beauty along the way. Thank you for always seeing the goodness in everyone and for being kind, caring, and full of light.
The fact you are now in Gods arms will take time to adjust to, as you will be deeply missed by all. Sending prayers of love, light and peace to your beautiful family.
I love you my dear friend,
Marcia Verga

Q: How did you meet Cynthia?
A: I met Cyndi in the early 90’s when she was teaching riding lessons at Willow Pond. She was my mentor in the equestrian world. I always admired how much empathy she had for the horses. I rode with her as a child and teenager. After I moved away for college, I loved coming back and visiting.
The last time we saw each other was in 2019 when we had a Willow Pond reunion at an American Sporthorse show. It was special having her there when my quarter horse and I made our Intermediate 1 debut.
Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge with me Cyndi. I’ll never forget you!
