Belia Martiarena Ramirez passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. Belia was a strong, courageous,
and exceptionally giving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Belia demonstrated the
grace and giving heart of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ throughout her life. Belia passed gracefully
and was surrounded by loving family members throughout her final days.
Belia was born in Del Rio, TX and moved to King City, CA early in her life, attending grade school,
junior high and high school in King City. Belia returned to Del Rio, TX after high school, where she
met and married her husband, Raul R. Ramirez after a short courtship. Raul and Belia moved back to
California shortly after their marriage to begin their life together and raise a beautiful family of four
children.
Belia worked at Glorietta Foods in San Jose, CA on Race Street for over 25 years and was also
a Beautician at a Beauty College in San Jose. Belia also worked as a host and server at many
important organizations like NASA Ames Research Center CPO club and many of the air shows in
Mountain View, CA in the San Francisco Bay area.
Belia is preceded in death by her father and mother Carlos Martiarena and Amalia Plaza Martiarena,
her brother and sister Daniel Martiarena and Carmen Martiarena, her husband Raul R. Ramirez and
her son, Raul Ramirez, Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted children Olga Ramirez
Cobrunson (Dan) of Modesto, CA; Ricardo Ramirez (Janette) of Hollister, CA; and Jo Anne Martiarena
Ramirez-Fish (Jason) of Lafayette, CO. She is also survived by loving grandchildren Jason R. Ramirez,
James D. Cobrunson, Gina M. Cobrunson Solano, Jaredd M. Reeve, Roxanne C. Ramirez, and Daniel J.
Ramirez. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren Alyssa M. Solano, Jocelyn M. Reeve, Tristan J.
Cousins, Oliva L. Ramirez, Jaelyn R. Cousins.
