Lechelle Elaine Moore, 41, of Keaau, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Lubbock.
Lechelle was born on August 7, 1981 in Okinawa, Japan to Paul Paden Moore and Lieu Tran Ti Moore. They had lived in Okinawa, Japan, El Sobrante, California, and Hilo, Hawaii, where she graduated from Waiakea High School. She attended Hawaii Community College, received her Bachelor of Science degree in General Psychology - Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ashford University, and was currently working on her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She had worked as a preschool teacher in Honolulu, HI and substitute teacher in Hilo, HI. She was a member of Connect Point Church in Hilo, HI, where she was involved with the women's group and especially the children. She loved Hula Dancing and traveling all around the world to see family and friends.
Lechelle is survived by her mother, Lieu Tran Ti Moore of Keaau, HI, sister, Marie Moore-Dailey and husband, John of Okinawa, Japan, two brothers, Charles Moore and wife, Jarisse, of San Jose, CA and Scott Moore of Los Angeles, CA, 3 half-sisters, Carol Greer of Tulsa, OK, Deborah Baumbach of Charleston, TN, and Murielle Lamy of Paris, France, special cousins, Daniel Gallion and wife, Nicole, of San Clemente, CA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel, 2210 Broadway, in Lubbock, Texas. The services will be livestreamed on our website on her obituary page. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2022 at Santa Cruz Memorial Park in Santa Cruz, California.
