Jeremias Vieira passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022, in Santa Cruz, California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 10:00am. The services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel located at 1927 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
Jeremias was born in the Azores on the island of Terceira and later came to the United States. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Jeremias was preceded in death by his parents Jose Teixeira Barroso and Maria Vieira Barroso and his brother Jose Albino Teixeira. He is survived by his brother, Manuel Barroso, sisters Maria Terra, Lucia Dias, Noelia Carvalho, Fatima Silva (Antonio Silva), and 15 nieces and nephews.
