To All the White Family, Today I found out about Gayle’s passing and I’m beside myself. I have so many memories of her and our teaching career together at Bay View. She taught me patience, compassion, and many teaching styles in order to reach students that learned differently from the “norm”. Gayle believed in me and who I am and how I teach. She taught me more than any college course ever did! Gayle was generous with her love, her time, and showered me with many gifts over the years! She was a great cook who made delicious dishes when we would have potluck lunches. She treated my own kids like they were her grandchildren! She always gave me compliments and guidance and appreciated my outlook on life! She treated students with respect and related to them in a loving, respectful manner. Gayle was a kid at heart! Gayle did her own hair (cutting it too) and she always looked good and was so put together! We laughed together so many times over the years, mostly at ourselves. Gayle was like a mother to me and I love her and will forever love her until the ocean has to wear diapers to keep its bottom dry!
