With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charles Ronald Roberson on April 19, 2026. Ron was born to CR Roberson and Marcia Roberson on July 1, 1941 in Delta, Colorado. They then moved to Eugene, Oregon where his brother, Jay Douglas was born. They then moved to Scotts Valley, California in 1946, where his brother John Ralph was born. Ron went to school at Scotts Valley Elementary, then went to Mission Hill Junior High School, and then graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1960. Ron then entered the Navy and was stationed in Rhode Island and Guantánamo Bay, Cuba as a CB (Construction Battalion). He married his first wife in 1963 and they had two children, Summer Roberson and Charles Roberson Jr. During this time, he received a bachelor’s degree in history, with a minor in religion and philosophy. He then received a master’s degree in seminary and went on to become a priest for the Evangelical Orthodox Church. After his marriage ended, he went on to have his daughter, Brittany Roberson. He then married Judith Rachel, and they had children Kylan, Arianna, and Andy Roberson.

Ron was known for his love of reading and a vast collection of books. He enjoyed conversing with people. He was a friend, an evangelist, a debater, an analyst, and a historian amongst other things.
