Margaret Mary Kudrav Obituary

Margaret Mary Kudrav, born the fifth of nine children on March 22, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on April 30, 2026. Known affectionately by her friends as “Margie” and by her grandchildren as “Bubba,” she was a vibrant soul whose laughter and adventurous spirit lit up every room she entered.

Margie’s life was anchored by her deep involvement in the Catholic Church. Her strong faith was a visible action, reflected in the way she moved throughout the church community. This same dedication was evident in her professional life as an occupational therapist, a career she was deeply proud of and one that allowed her to use her compassion to restore independence to others.

An artist at heart, Margie possessed a discerning eye and a particular passion for painting. She viewed the world through a lens of color and texture, and her legacy of creativity remains a testament to her unique way of experiencing life, which she passed on to all of her children and grandchildren.

She brought the same joyful energy to her family life—her fun, adventurous nature created countless cherished memories through many family adventures and outings. She loved being a mom and took great joy in that role, always sharing her enthusiasm and spirit with her children.

She is survived by her children: Megan Maloney, Craig Maloney, Louie Maloney, Gretchen Welsh and eight grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories of their Bubba and miss her deeply. She also leaves behind brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews; a daughter-in-law and son-in-law; and many other family members, along with a wide circle of loving friends.

A life lived with such strong faith leaves a lasting mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
