Patty Ann Holland, lovingly known to many as “Patty Doll,” passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born on April 3, 1953, in La County, California, Patty spent her early years in Southern California and came of age in the Paramount area. In 1985, she made her home in Santa Cruz County, where she would plant deep roots and touch countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.

After graduating high school, Patty pursued a career in hair design, where her talent, creativity, and dedication earned her numerous awards and accolades in the field of cosmetology. More than her professional success, however, she cherished the relationships she built with those she served—making everyone who sat in her chair feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Patty was a woman of deep and abiding faith. A devoted Christian, she leaned on her relationship with God throughout her life and was a source of spiritual strength and encouragement to those around her. Her compassion, generosity, and gentle spirit reflected the love she carried in her heart.

Above all, Patty’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her four children, Cherie, Michelle, Christian, and Veronica; her 13 grandchildren; and her 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on through each of them.

Patty will be remembered for her beautiful soul, her welcoming nature, and the way she made people feel like family. She leaves behind a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial, followed by a celebration of life at the Scotts Valley Community Center.

Patty Doll will be deeply missed and forever loved.
