Kenneth Leonard Ridino passed away at his home in Magalia California on February 18th, at the age of 62, after suffering from health challenges including symptoms of congestive heart failure over the past year. Ken was a principled man, always striving for peace and harmony for everyone he cared about while at the same time searching for his own personal identity and sense of self.
Ken was the youngest of five siblings. Preceded in death by his loving parents Sam A. and Frances L. Ridino of Aptos, he is survived by his three brothers, Sam I., Robert, and Ronald, and his sister Nancy, all of whom are deeply saddened by their loss.
Born in Tucson, Arizona in 1963, his family moved to Glendale, California a few years later, where he grew up during his formative years. In 1980, Ken relocated to Aptos California, where his entire extended family had discovered its wonderful environment and lifestyle. Eventually graduating from Aptos High School, Ken ultimately found the peaceful mountain lakes and rivers of Magalia, California. This area brought him serenity in the last few years of his life. Ken spent much of his time caring for his three dogs (Hazel, Dio, and Buster), a focus of attention which brought him great personal comfort and meaning.
Memories of Ken’s sweet nature and goodwill towards people, and all of the positive things that life can bring, will last forever. His generous loving spirit will surely be missed by all of those who knew him.
