Carolyn Sprague passed away February 23, 2026, leaving her friends and family to grieve this tremendous loss. Born July 3, 1962 to Vernon and Barbara Chupp, she spent her early years in the suburbs of Los Angeles before moving north to Los Altos and eventually Santa Cruz, CA. As a long-time resident, Carolyn dedicated over 30 years to serving the Santa Cruz community. She leaves behind a legacy of public service, with an earnest care for those she assisted.

Carolyn was a devoted wife to her husband, Stephen, and a loving mother to her four sons: Austin, Keaton, Christian, and Quinton. She raised her boys with exceptional love and light-hearted humor. Her family was her greatest pride and joy. She has gone far too soon, but her memory will forever be cherished through the stories of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
