Obituary of Park Ngorn Wong

Please share a memory of Park to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Park passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, surrounded by his family at home in Santa Cruz. Park was born on July 5, 1931, in Taishan, Guangdong, China. He was the second oldest of four children. He immigrated to Tulare, CA in 1957, where he worked at stocking shelves in a local supermarket. Park spent 30+ years working in grocery stores, mostly at King’s Market and Freedom Food Center. In his retirement years, Park enjoyed traveling with friends on cruises, casinos, and a couple of trips back to China. His biggest passion was gardening and barbecuing. Park is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rose; his son, Gerry, daughter; Cindy and by numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, 2 sisters, and brother have predeceased him. Our family would like to thank the following for their help in taking care of our dad: Dr. Satish Chandra, Dr. Raina Ferzoco (Molly and Megan), Mary and Richard Solari Cancer Center and Hospice of Santa Cruz.
