It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie Ashley Antweiler on May 17 at 8:50 pm PST. She was a remarkable person, a loving, devoted mother to her daughter, Lilliana, a wonderful loving daughter to her parents Karen and Dennis, a loving sister to Christopher and Brandon and a loving partner to Nate Weber. She was a veterinary tech and lover of animals, especially her Siberian Husky, Jenna. She was 41 years of age. Born in Santa Cruz, California in 1983, Jamie was raised in the communities of Soquel & Live Oak. As an adult she resided at various times in these two communities as well as Santa Cruz Gardens, Capitola and Aptos. As a young girl, her Dad and Mom called her their “Little Miss Sunshine”. Jamie attended pre-school at the Soquel Congregational Church in Soquel, Elementary at Mid-County Christian, Middle School at New Brighton and a bit of time at Soquel High School. She attended Cabrillo College in Aptos and earned her AA Degree there. She then attended Veterinary Technician School at Foothill College in Los Alto Hills. Jamie worked for Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital initially at the Soquel Drive location and then at the 41st Avenue location.
