Michael Edward Bailey, 82, of Santa Cruz, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Southern California on March 13, 1943, Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished friend.

A nationally recognized watercolor artist and teacher, Mike inspired countless students over more than two decades. He was a proud member of the National and American Watercolor Societies and known for his passion, creativity, and generosity.

Mike is survived by his wife Diana; daughters Melissa and Brenis; stepchildren David and Karen; grandchildren; and siblings Linda, Robin, Laurie, and Devon. His impact on the arts community and his students will be remembered with deep gratitude.
