He was the patriarch of the backyard, the croquet king, the strikeout leader in wiffle ball, and the master of fluent sarcasm, delivered in an East Coast style. Although his journey here has come to an end, ours continues, and we will carry forward his legacy. He brought us all back together after years of unnecessary distance. He is now part of the great unknown, yet he still remain an integral part of us. We will cherish his memory, live with purpose, and find peace in the enduring love that binds us.
