Carole Joyce Guiliano-Fehn, “Joyce”, departed this life with family by her side, at the age of 82, after battling complications related to congestive heart failure.

Joyce was born in Fresno, CA and moved to Santa Cruz with her family as a young child. She graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1960. Joyce married her late husband, Fred Fehn in 1969 and they lived in Bonny Doon for 43 years. Joyce moved to Spring Lakes in Scotts Valley in 2013, where she resided up to the time of her death.

Joyce worked as a hair stylist for over 50 years and had many dedicated clients who adored her. She retired in 2017 at the age of 75. She enjoyed riding her bike around Spring Lakes, going to the gym, playing Bocce Ball, and Mahjong, and spending time with friends and family.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Guiliano of Santa Cruz, her brother, Jerry Guiliano of Chico, several nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Fred Fehn and her sister, Kay Bertsch. Joyce’s infectious personality, generosity, and love for her family and community will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial will be held at Oakwood Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA. on March 8, 2025 at 11:00AM.
