Audrey "Rose" Krassow, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2025. She was born and raised in Bonny Doon, California area near Santa Cruz and graduated from Santa Cruz High School. Audrey met her husband, Dale Krassow and embarked on a 50-plus year marriage on September 1, 1967. They relocated many times while raising their children, Dail and Jason. Eventually settling in Lake Tahoe, California for 30 years before returning to Santa Cruz.

Audrey worked for many years in the medical records field both in Lake Tahoe and Santa Cruz. Audrey enjoyed the outdoors, reading novels and spending time with her pets who she cherished. Audrey was passionate about her faith and attended Santa Cruz Bible Church.

Audrey is survived by her devoted children Dail Vannerus (Peter), Jason Krassow (Marianne) and grandchildren Korie Vannerus, Peter Vannerus, Amanda Vannerus, Madison Krassow, Bella Krassow, Raegan Krassow and Great Grand Child Savannah Boyko. She is also survived by her brother Daniel Long (Vicky). Her generous loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Audrey's life on Saturday February 22, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean St. in Santa Cruz. Lunch reception to follow at Santa Cruz Bible Church, 440 Frederick St. Santa Cruz.

In lieu of flowers her family is asking that donations be made in her memory to Santa Cruz Bible Church.
