Leopoldo A. Cortes Obituary

Leopoldo was raised in Querendaro, Michoacan, Mexico. He came to the United States in 1962. He worked for Campbell Soup, CO. (Pacific Mushroom Farm), in Pescadero, California. for 25 years.

Leopoldo was preceded in death by his wife, Raquel A. Cortes.

He is survived by his daughters, Rosa Calderon (Jose Luis) of Texas and Ceci Cortes of Santa Cruz; his sons Daniel Cortes (Joanne) of Santa Cruz. Leopoldo Cortes (Yanelys) of Texas, Pedro Cortes (Debbie) of San Jose, Javier Cortes (Coralia) of Texas, and Gustavo Cortes of Santa Cruz. Leopoldo is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 3-7 pm. The funeral services will be Friday, September 15, 2023, at 12:30 pm with a graveside service to follow. All services will be at Oakwood Memorial Park, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz.
