Fenesia “Tiny” Mae Machado Obituary

Fenesia “Tiny” Mae Machado, 90 years of age, passed away in her hometown of Santa Cruz with her family by her side from natural causes.


Tiny was born in Santa Cruz to Gino and Pluma Bandini on April 22, 1933. She attended Mission Hill School and graduated from Santa Cruz High. She worked at the Rexall Drug Stores as a retail clerk and loved playing sports. She was an amazing bowler and enjoyed a game of cards, as well as crocheting.


Tiny is survived by her children, Deana (Rick) Howland and Douglas (Sandra) Braga. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her sister Marie (Wayne) Thorton.


Tiny was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Machado, her parents, Gino and Pluma Bandini; siblings Alice Dimeo, Albert Lawson and Jean Hart.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at 1:30 pm, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2271 17th Ave. Santa Cruz, CA.
