David Williams, a beloved son, brother and devoted friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 17th at the age of 43. He touched so many lives with his gentle spirit, eagerness to be there for others- friend and stranger alike, and his kind, big heart.
David was born and raised in Santa Cruz, which instilled his love for the ocean and nature from a very early age. He could always be found outdoors either hiking, camping or fishing. He loved sharing his vast knowledge of all thing’s nature and fishing with any and everyone. He especially enjoyed teaching and showing people their first experiences, he would never miss an opportunity to invite you out fishing or camping. He was a very skilled construction worker and exceptionally talented at carpentry, if you thought of it, he could build it- and would for you if you asked. He was always willing, ready, and happy to help anyone in any way, especially in his skilled wheelhouses. He had a sweet and overwhelmingly kind soul- anyone that met him would immediately have a friend who would do anything for them.
David is survived by his mother and father, Kathleen and Blayne Williams and his sister, Karame Williams; all of Santa Cruz. As well as the countless family and friends whom he loved with his whole heart.
David’s final resting place will be in the ocean, which he loved and can now fish forever.
