ANN was a dear friend and I well remember when she came to Harrogate to visit Ron and me. We had great fun showing ANN around our area before ANN and I headed for a few days in London. We were down at the bottom of the Oxford station waiting for our train when there was a bomb alert. No elevators nor escalators but many stairs. Some kind gentleman helped carry Ann’s luggage up ground surface. We had so much fun together!
