Dr. Sheridan was instrumental in diagnosing my brain tumor back in March 1987. I was referred to him by Dr. Vernon Wong and after he gave me a thorough ophthalmology exam he ordered an CT scan which then revealed a very large pituitary tumor in my brain. After my surgery and recuperation I went back to see Dr. Sheridan to say "Thank you for saving my eye sight". His professionalism and being alert to my condition saved my vision. He told me then he knew right away that I had a brain tumor but he could'n't tell me that at that time until I got the CT scan. I had successful surgery at UCSF and while I suffered permanent peripheral damage due to the tumor growth, I will forever be grateful for Dr. Sheridan and his quick actions and kindness. Our sincere condolences to Dr. Sheridan's family. Dr. Sheridan was a good man, great doctor and we are grateful for all he did for us. Rest well Dr. Sheridan... and thank you for everything.
