Ronald Clinton Worrell June 8, 1942 - October 31, 2018 Former Resident of Santa Cruz Ronald Clinton Worrell, a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on October 31, 2018. He was 76. Ronald was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Joseph Wilson Worrell and Genevieve Scriver Worrell. He was raised in Santa Cruz, California and graduated from Santa Cruz High School. He went on to earn his MBA degree from Rensselaer Polytech Institute in 1989. From there he became a successful Business Reorganizer for several Fortune 500 Companies. His job took him all over the country including Oregon, New York and Tennessee. Ronald enjoyed many things in life including camping, fishing, hunting and golf. Education was also very important to him. Above all he loved socializing with his friends and family. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carole Lynn Worrell; daughter, Jamie (Chris) Henrickson; grandchildren Andrew and Allie Henrickson; brother, Joe Worrell; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeni Worrell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). A Funeral Service will be held at the Santa Cruz Memorial - Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean Street Ext., Santa Cruz, CA 95060 on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Santa Cruz Memorial Park.
