My condolences to the family. Pat was with us for a much too short time at the University of Alaska, but while here, he made an indelible impression. I was pleased to have a chance to visit Pat and Mary Lee in Santa Cruz, and had a great time. We had lost touch over the years, but he always had a warm place among my friends. Vera Alexander
