Obituary of James Robert La Vars

On July 16, 2016 James La Vars danced into Heaven where he found the most spectacular room prepared especially for him. Excitedly awaiting his arrival were friends and family, including his prescious mom Louisa, dad Paul, his iseparable brother uncle Dave,and many more. Jim was an adventurous man, an exceptional artist,a master woodworker, a car genius, a leather craftsman, and most importantly a strong believer in Christ. His adventures included his own built dune buggies that took him to pismo beach , all over Southern California and deep into the dunes of Mexico! We shared Many camping and fishing adventures...I know he is fishing with Jesus and the La Vars boys right now! Your adventurous spirit lives on in your grandchildren. We shall meet again in Heavenly places for the ultimate dune buggy ride... See you soon Pa.... Graveside services are planned for Thursday January 5, 2017 at 11 am at the Oakwood Memorial Park 3301 Paul Sweet Road Santa Cruz
