Obituary of Pablo C. Tejeda

Pablo Tejeda, age 68 passed away on September 27, 2016 peacefully in his home. He was born May 3rd, 1948. Born in Cueramaro, Guanajuato, he was a resident of Santa Cruz and Watsonville, California. He retired from Carl Dobler & Sons where he worked for many years. He was known in his younger years as Camacho and later simply as dad, grandpa and Pabs by those who loved him the most. He enjoyed going for walks at the flea market and traveling to his hometown, but more than anything he rejoiced in spending time with his family and friends. Son of Jacobo Tejeda and Maria Del Jesus Castillo, he was the youngest of 5 children. He is lived on by his father Jacobo Tejeda, and his 4 sisters Esperanza, Justina, Noche Buena and Francisca. His life was devoted to his family and their happiness. He cherished spending his time with his sisters, nephews and nieces. He had a fruitful 32 year marriage to Petra Tejeda. He was predeceased by his loving daughter Monica Tejeda and survived by his 4 children Elisha Garcia, Estefanie Roldan, Melissa Tejeda, and Pablo M. Tejeda and his grandchildren Anthony, Diego, and Dominic Garcia, Monica, Andrew, Malenie, and Hector Lopez and Petra and Estevali Roldan. Funeral services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial, 1927 Ocean St. Ext, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. There will a visitation at 4:00pm and a rosary on Tuesday October the 4, 2016 at 7:00pm There will be a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his life on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at 10am with a graveside committal to follow.
