Bernard "Bernie" Beckwith died August 16th at age 62. Born May 24, 1954 in Orange, California, Bernie graduated from Brea-Olinda High School in 1972. He later earned a B.A. in Psychology at San Diego State University. He served for many years as an examiner at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Capitola. Bernie was an avid hiker, camper, and world traveler, an amateur photographer, and a movie lover. He is survived by his mother, Mary P. Beckwith of Scottsdale, Arizona, and by two older brothers, Guy and Howard.
