Obituary of Edward L. Gordon

Eddie Gordon, 68, came home from work and died on August 9th. Eighteen years after a life-saving liver transplant, he died as he lived - simply, with unwavering, unapologetic faith, and no fuss. A staple of the '70s Santa Cruz surf culture, Ed settled down in 1980 when he married the love of his life. Together they raised two phenomenal children, built Edwards Pest Control, & founded the nonprofit Help & Education for Liver Patients (help4hcv.org). Among the brokenhearted are Ed's wife CN, son JT, daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Josh, & pup Kiley. Ed's life story and legacy of friendship, hope, & kindness to all cannot be contained here.
