Brad Johnson, 62, passed away suddenly at his Aptos home on Monday. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbi Johnson, and his son Kevin Johnson, both of Aptos and his son Brian Johnson of Los Angeles. He is also survived by his mother, Pat Johnson of Seal Beach, his two sisters, Margo Giles of Scotts Valley and Jennifer Scott of Long Beach, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A native of Palo Alto, he has lived in Aptos for 25 years, and managed Longs Drugs in Santa Cruz County. He retired in 2010, which he enjoyed, and especially loved his two Great Danes, Luna and Sophia. Brad was also very fond of "tinkering" in his garage.
Memorial services will be held at Oakwood Memorial Crystal Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the Great Dane Rescue of Northern California (GDRNC.org).
