Obituary of Gary Allan Ramus

Longtime Boulder Creek, CA resident, Gary Allan Ramus, sadly passed away suddenly in his home on May 4th, 2016. Gary was born in Culver City, California on January 3, 1952 to his proud parents, Edgar Allan and Sarah Iona Ramus. Gary leaves behind his soulmate and loving and caring wife, Linda; sisters DeLayne Martysus of Cottage Grove, OR; Cheryl Lacher (husband, Chuck) of Duvall, WA; Judy Bair (husband, Lyn) of Monroe, WA; six nieces and nephews, as well as great and great, great nieces and nephews. Gary was hardworking, an automotive technician his entire life until retirement in 2014. He and Linda shared a love of the Redwoods and of sports, especially baseball, football and NASCAR racing. He inherited his dad's excellent carpentry skills and he was also a great artist who has a love of music and early on played bass guitar. He was also the best story teller! He was such a good, patient and caring soul who has a great sense of humor and would make us all laugh at his funny life stories. The love he held in his heart for his wife, family and friends is beyond description. The circle of life continues, but there is a huge hole where he should be as a husband, brother, uncle and friend. We will miss him and will carry him always in our hearts. There will be a Celebration of Life in Washington on July 9th, 2016.
