Obituary of Rosemary Doskey

Services will be held Sunday November 22nd for Rosemary Doskey, 84, who passed away surrounded by her loving daughters on Friday, November 13th. She was a 10 year resident of Scotts Valley, having moved from Cleveland, Ohio in 2005, after her beloved husband, John S. Doskey passed away. She was born July 3, 1931 Rosemary Bartuccio, daughter of Carmelo & Susan Bartuccio, sisters to Frances and Veronica. She married John Doskey in 1952 in Cleveland and moved to California where she raised three daughters, and enjoyed a career as a bookkeeper, working for Calpine Container Company in Pleasant Hill, California. Rosemary was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her many acts of kindness, her love of family, fondness for animals, especially Beagles, her craft-making, delicious cooking and life long devotion to the Catholic Church. She was an active member of Saint Agustin Catholic Church in Scotts Valley. Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Ellen Doskey, Janice Doskey and Carol Doskey, five grandchildren; Olivia and Ronan Doskey-Mulvaney, Lucas Doskey Fry, Jonathon and Thomas Moberg, and her sons-in-law, Scott Mulvaney, Edwin Fry and Kenneth Moberg. She is also survived by her sister Veronica Koepke and nephew Greg Maxwell, Uncle Anthony Bartuccio, one niece and two nephews from the Grapentine family. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Memorial Crystal Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA.
