Just learned of Aunt Velma's passing today. I would have loved to have been at her memorial to join in her send off into her new life. My memories of her will always be happy, fun, and family. Bringing back so many wonderful memories of a wonderful lady.

Mom always said to me, " I could never see what Jack (DAD) saw in me. He was such a handsome guy". With that beautiful smile and loving heart we all see it too...I am so glad they are together once again and this time forever..I know she is truely happy! Till I see her again I will miss her so much.

Velma was always happy and smiling, she loved the holidays and visiting with people. She loved having her coffee and dessert, maybe that is why she was so sweet. She loved Angels, I believe she will get her wings sooner than most. I will miss you Velma and I am so grateful to have been your friend.

My Daughter and I visited Aunt Velma I don't know 10 years ago I guess when she was up in Moses Lake, WA All of her old 8mm film had been changed over on to video tape, she played those for us. It was a lot of fun seeing those after all these yeas. I Love You Auntie. You will always be in my heart. I will see you someday when I get there

Velma was the best! She helped us understand getting older and still having fun, which is "better than the alternative". She was game for almost anything. Going to parks, museums, restaurants, Santa Cruz Wharf, learning, parties, and even kayaking. She did turn down sky diving though. I will miss her fun loving heart and soul! Love and Hugs forever!
