I had the pleasure of meeting Gene back in the 60's when we both were at CAZ. He was as charming then as he was in his maturity. I feel so fortunate to have had the pleasure of keeping in contact with Gene and Margaret during my tenure on the CAZ board.

Gene was a lifelong friend starting with Cazadero Muisc Camp in the early 60s. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
