Over the last 40 plus years, Diane and I enjoyed many vacations with Anthony and Jeanna. We have done so much together that it is very difficult to envision our life without Anthony in it.
He was always the planner, organizer and our motivator. Planning our next adventure, our next journey. He was the Rooster of the flock!
Whether it was planning the next houseboat trip to Shasta or lake Mead. Or riding our motorcycle's to Reno, Sturgis, Arizona and our last long ride through California's Yosemite National Park. Or planning a hunting trip in California for deer or boar, or an Elk hunt n Colorado, Oregon or Utah.
He loved to fish, too, it didn't mater if we were going fishing offshore on a boat or surf fishing along the coast, we did it all. Fished Cabo San Lucas several times, Lake Tahoe, Monterey Bay and the Channel Islands off Southern California.
He was the reason I rode motorcycles as much as I have. I bought a new Harley in 1998 and he was just as excited about it as I was.
I was the reason he wanted to learn to hunt and be an outdoors-man. I was beside him on his first hunt and with him many hunting trips that followed. We had many memorable times in the great outdoors. Several trips were in the Rocky Mountains on horseback.
We became brothers! And like all brothers we had disagreements and a couple arguments, but we always worked it out. Anthony could make anyone laugh! And often did. He would say or do something at just the right moment to make you smile.
Anthony would make up his own lyrics to many famous country songs. He would sometimes sing them out loud when the song played on the juke-box. Everyone in the bar would smile and start laughing at his version of the song. He was one wild and crazy hombre!
We celebrate the time we had with Anthony and know he appreciated everyone of of us. He was all about family, just like his Mom. Let us salute Antonio!
He will never be forgotten.
Love you forever,
Kerry & Diane Caines (brother in-law and sister)
Sent with love and remembrance of Anthony.
Someone so special can never be forgotten.
