Recqiescat in Pace, Everett Meisser - 2024. While meeting Everett Meisser, C.P.A., through the accounting world, Everett had a deep, deep knowledge not just of tax and financial matters in which he was a thought and best practices leader, but of subject matter like the Prado and the Uffizi, plus other things like the intricate and detailed histories of Silicon Valley, Santa Cruz and the California Central Coast. Everett was also in touch with everyone on a professional level, and surely deserved for his wisdom about things, family, helping others and upholding ethics and rules, much more recognition than he could ever have received. His accounting and financial colleagues, the same. If you knew Everett Meisser, you must have sorrows and loss at his passing for the quality of life he brought up for many people with his talents, and his service for the benefit of others. We will all miss him. Respectfully and sincerely yours, Thomas H. Spitters, C.P.A.

Dear Meisser Family, I offer my condolences to you all. Although I didn’t know Everett well, my brother John and I attended St. Mary’s School with him and I was in his sister Mary’s class for several years. I was then Joan Elizabeth Siegel and she was Mary Elizabeth Meisser. We were very close friends and, If I remember correctly, we chose each other’s first names for our Confirmation names! The last time she and I spoke about our families was when we were in college and then we lost track. My heart goes out to those of you who knew and loved Everett. May you find peace in the memories of him that you share. With love, Joan Siegel Bertolotti. (408-832-5393)

To all the Meisser kids- I will never forget the generosity of your dad in the community at Happy Valley. He was often the only dad there among many crazy moms. I think he really did that for you guys and wanted the best for you and gave in whatever way he could that contributed to your life. I learned very quickly that he had the best ideas in the room and if you listened to his comments under his breath, he was the funniest too! I also remember the time my tire popped in Tahoe and how he followed me and waited even when he didn’t have to wait. He was a really good friend to all. To Lisa- I was often inspired by the laughter you shared with Everett. It reminded me what was most important in a relationship and how humor can really bring people close. I hope you all remember what a big life your dad lived. He touched so many people in so many corners of his life. I’m sure his generosity and humor is already knitted into your hearts and never forget he will always be with you because of it. Love you all!!!
